HI All,

We got 1 HP ML 570 G2 Server with 4x 2.0GHz CPU, 4GB RAM. All the drives are in RAID 5. I got 5-10 Databases and biggest DB is 65GB
Also this server is Windows 2000 and SQL 2000 SP3.

Now System is taking 4.4GB RAM and 50-70% CPU.

I can not use SQL 2005 and have to stick to SQL 2000. So my question is even if i upgarde the OS onto windows 2003 and new quad core server with SAN connect will improve the performance due to this sql 2000 memeory limitation?

Do you have the Enterprise Version of SQL 2000? (If not you cannot use additional RAM, AFAIK)
