Well get cracking then ...

P.S. Although that seems a bit daft ... can sometimes be handy to know where a first-poster is from, and I'm not sure how it can be a "privilege"??

Hi David,

I had worked on Navision LS Retail something like 2 years back for about 6 months mostly on the functional side before being bundled back to asp.net & SQL Server .Was responsible mostly for store & warehouse transfers.
Still remember tits & bits of C/AL prgramming.

A had to remove almost all the profile fields from new posters. They were using it to put in spam links. I may look at adding a few of those back in. That would be very handy to know.

Hmmm ... just allow AlphaNumeric and Space - or does that still let them Spam?

I can't say I've noticed it as a problem on other sites, so I wonder if the validation in Snitz is a bit slack? Were people putting <SCRIPT> stuff in there to redirect to www.spam.com and the like?

I'm not sure the location was actually used for spam. I basically locked out almost all the fields. There's a good chance I over-reacted. :)
