but it's still a cool toy  the shift thing annoys me too. the tab is nicely replaced by the next button in the top left corner of the keyboard.

There is a setting on the iPhone at least to simulate a caps lock, you basically just tap the shift key twice. But you need to enable it first...:
Start the Settings app. Click on the General menu, and then the Keyboard menu. Turn Enable Caps Lock on.

Here's my tip of the day, to take a snapshot or a "print screen" hold the home key and the power button for 1/2 second.. The screen capture can be found under your iPad Photos!

How hard would it be to create a web version of management studio?? I've been thinking about this for a while and I thought it would have been a cool project...an exact replica of management studio (probably without the wizards) but in html/.net or something. Hmm

@Lumbago: there was a web version of EM for sql server 2000. noone used it so they discontinued it.
@MVJ: No, SSMS doesn't run on the iPad 
@khtap: there's an iPad remote desktop utility that works well caleed RDP.

I actually was going to upgrade to the 4 untill I found the At&T cap on internet access.
