but it's still a cool toy
the shift thing annoys me too.
the tab is nicely replaced by the next button in the top left corner of the keyboard.

There is a setting on the iPhone at least to simulate a caps lock, you basically just tap the shift key twice. But you need to enable it first...:

Start the Settings app.
Click on the General menu, and then the Keyboard menu.
Turn Enable Caps Lock on.

Here's my tip of the day, to take a snapshot or a "print screen" hold the home key and the power button for 1/2 second..
The screen capture can be found under your iPad Photos!

How hard would it be to create a web version of management studio?? I've been thinking about this for a while and I thought it would have been a cool project...an exact replica of management studio (probably without the wizards) but in html/.net or something. Hmm

the Oracle management client runs from the web. I think it is terribad. Besides, isn't SSMS slow enough as it is? Bring back Query Analyzer and Enterprise Manager!

Not unless you jailbreak it, I'd imagine. And I wouldn't count on the touchscreen support working properly in the VM.

What's the cap?

I've got 1 GB on my 3G (for laptop, not iPad), planning on changing providers in the near-future so that I can double that

My iPad 2 arrived last Friday. My son (3 years old) loves it. I'm waiting on my keyboard/cover (Zagg) to arrive this Friday, and then I'll be able to use it a bit as I intend to lightly use it as a work device.
