Hello everyone,

Is there a way to configure merge replication to replace to peer to peer? Basically having bidirectional replication between publisher and subscriber using merge?

We are looking to replace P2P. Initially merge replication looks like a promising solution but I am unable to get definitive answers on how to actually achieve bidirectional repl with merge. If merge is able to replace P2P is there a limitation on how many servers can be configured? Currently we have 3 servers that would need to share real time data. All 3 would have to be identical at all times.

I considered mirroring but I am in the same boat on collecting server limitation data (total numbers) that can be implemented along with failover possibilities.

Thank you in advance for any input you may have
Steve
