Hi I'm trying to connect(via PC W7 to a MSSQL 2008 that is a wServer 2008 via Windows AutenticationThe Pc is not in a domain.I'm getting :Login failed. The login is from an untrusted domain and cannot be used with Windows authentication. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 18452)The only way is to connect via SQL Autentication ?Regards Pedro |

The only way to connect to SQL Server with windows auth on machines that are not in a domain is to have the exact same local windows user (same username/password) on both machines, on the OS level that is.
