I am not saying I dislike Celko, but he goes out of his way to rub people the wrong way and his message gets lost.

"you are dangerous and ignorant" is not likely to communicate anything except "I'm a self important a**"

Nah, he has some good ideas.

However, his implementations are not the most performant nor the most maintanable either.
And I also think, as you do, he need to impove his people skills.

But nevertheless, he still do a lot for the community.

The funny thing is he's very entertaining and polite in person, at least while presenting. I think he likes having the internet to blow off steam.
