Makes us look so insignificant.
Limitations live only in our minds. But if we use our imaginations, our possibilities become limitless.

| Betelgeuse (top left star in Orion) is 1,000 times the diameter of our Sun (and it reducing in size at a dramatic rate - about 500 miles per hour!) if Betelgeuse were our Sun its diameter would reach out to the orbit of Jupiter. That's quite big really ... |

ummm...I don't have to?
in any case...buddy of mine got an Iphone
(a phone is a phone damn it)
And he got the first app I've ever heard of that was actually pretty cool...it shows you all the stars/planets/constellations, by pointing it up at the sky..something about a compas and PGS built in...
And if you point it at the ground, it shows you that stars on tyhe other side of the world...I thought that was pretty cool
Now if the US Congress could just go back to funding Nasa...doesn't anybody learn about history anymore????

Google Sky, or maybe another app. It's also available for Android. It is very neat. |
