We have our Database in SQL Server 2000. We have installed the Database and our software in Windows Xp.

Our DB is corrupted three times till now. Even corrupted on the installed day, without using the database. We have seen lot of error messages after opening the Database. What are the reasons for the Database corruption frequently?

IO subsystem. Either there's faulty drives, out of date firmware/drivers or similar. There's something wrong somewhere in the IO stack. Do some analysis or just get the DB onto new drives.

most possible chances are bad HDD...need to replace or move your DB to some other DISK
