Hello everyone

Could someone give me a brief outline of how you would use the

lookup function.

I have come across it at work. I am just starting to get into the hard core TSQL syntax now.

What do you mean?
I've never heard about a lookup function in T-SQL.
I know that there is a lookup function in reporting services to use in expressions...

In T-SQL you need to do a join I think.
