i think if i understand correctly its a ticket system where any issues logged in production is assigned a ticket number and assigned. The status of the issue can be tracked anytime by means of this ticket number and also can know resolutions steps taken. Once issue is sorted out, ticket will be closed.

We receive tickets from various users regarding products issues. They are typically related to performance issues, but we get other requests such as creating a new database, running scripts, modifying data, checking replication, etc...

But really we need this put into perspective. What was the exact question that was asked? And what is the job title that you are applying for?
