Hi all
Help required to do Side by Side Install SQL Server 2008R2 in Windows 2003 SP2 Cluster(A/P) with SQL Server 2000 SP2.
Here my Steps,Please cofirm Is this steps are ok or I need to change any stpes.
1. Install Microsoft Shared components .Net frame work,Windows Installer (Start with Passive Node) lets say Node1
2. Do the fail-over and Install the Microsoft shared components .Net frame work,Windows Installer in remaining Node. Let’s say Node2
3. Do the fail-over
5. Do the fail-over
7. Start the SQL Server 2008R2 Installation (Start from Passive Node) Let say Node1
8. Do the fail-over
9. Add Node to the SQL Server 2008R2 fail-over cluster (Now we are in Passive Node)
