Please suggest how to reduce the size of database.whether by reducing the amount of storing the transaction log ,it's able to reduce the size of database.kris |

You will have at least one transaction log file probably with extension .ldf and a data file with extension .mdf.You can reduce either by a shrink - right click on the database, tasks, shrink.First you have to release space though. Is the log or the data file the issue.If the log which recovery model does your database use and do you have log backups?==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.SSIS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
