I am a newbie, so I apologize in advance for any stupid questions I post.
We currently have a SQL 2000 server (enterprise version) that we were using to test an application on. We didn't have licensing and were evaluating it only, it was not in production. Now, we want to move it to production, so I purchased a copy of SQL 2000 Enterprise server. What steps do I take to enter the new product key that I just purchased in order to move this to production? Is there a way to do this, or do I have to completely re-install MS SQL 2000 Enterprise?
