Hi there,

i have no scripting or database background so please excuse the ignorance. I have been given some data which i need to look and manipulate for a GIS program. The data is in 3 files; .frm .MYI .MYD which as far a i can tell is the format used by SQL databases.

Is there any program i can use to manipulate the data (excell/access) or do i have to set-up a proxy server (which i don't know how to do) to run a program like phpMyAdmin to play with the data.

Any advice would be great. Or any link to good tutorials.

Thanks,
Joel

Those are MySQL files, not MS SQL Server files....I think you need to post on a MySQL forum like here http://forums.mysql.com/

Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.
