Hello everyone,

I am completely new to this topic, and I'm not sure if I'm posting it in the right place or not.
I'm a translator and I use Across CAT tool. The mentioned CAT tool needs MS SQL Server 2005 to be installed...I never had any problems with installation of that program before, but when I tried to install it on my laptop with Windows XP OS, I keep getting errors, telling me the server wouldn't start.
I googled it and found few solutions such as one mentioned here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/920114/en-us but there is no protect folder on my computer, as mentioned in the solution. So, anyway, I could really use your help. I'll paste the error message bellow.

Thanks,
Dasha

rename C:\Windows\System32\Microsoft (Microsoft) to Microsoft_1 and rerun setup

Thanks, but it didn't work. I was able to install it on its own by assigning a domain user for it-however I still couldn't get it to start when I was installing the Across program. There is no option to see hidden files during the setup, and that's the only way I could get it to start...
