What does this mean?If I select query on a table one of the field names has a squiggle underneath, hover over that and it says 'Invalid column Name'The field name is 'ConfType', how can that be an invalid name? |

Could just be that the structure has been changed since you connected or maybe it's a temp table or you're in the context of the wrong database/user.I guess this is management studioignore it unless you get an error whgen you try to run it.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.SSIS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |

aye - it was in SSMS. I had added this as a new field (sorry should have mentioned that) when i logged out and logged back in the squiggly line had gone and no message appearing. |

As an FYI, you can use SHIFT+CTRL+R to refresh the cache. |
