You're pretty smart for somebody with such a low post count!

No, you're never too old to Yak'n'Roll if you're too young to die.

I wonder if Nigel Rivett is somehow related to a user whose login was "NR". May be they are twins, or colleagues or something

In any case, congratulations, Nigel.

Every time I see your name, I think of Nigel Short. Pretty soon, I will get to a point where, when I see Nigel Short's name anywhere, I will think of Nigel Rivett.

Sunita.

Yes nigelrivett == nr. We are working on getting his accounts merged.

No mystery - it happens if you create a new account and stop using the old one.
Actually I spend a lot of time debating with myself and criticising my work so it could have been handy.

I'm mellowing a bit in my old age and allowing people to do fairly silly things which I would have been abrasive about in my youth.
Funny that it makes the systems more difficult to maintain and inefficient but the clients seem happier - which unfortunately makes it more difficult to end contracts.
Being right too quickly often isn't appreciated.

ps there's no space in nigelrivett.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
SSIS can be used in a similar way.
