 sql server error 18456, login failed for USER 'NTA

Hi Folks,


1.sql server error 258, unable to complete login process due to delay in login response,[ SQL STATE 08001].

2.sql server error 4060, cannot open database '--'requested by login. The failed login [SQL STATE 42000]

3.sql server error 18456, login failed for USER 'NTAUTHORITY\SYSTEM'. [SQL STATE 28000]



Am facing the problem from yesterday plz. help me to fix this issue am in a critical position to fix this issue.

The default database for that login is either not there, not online or the login has no permission to it.

Hi Gail,

Thanks to see your reply..

But, the logins are there for the database, and they are having the appropriate permissions.

i tried to route cause this issue and i came across several observations like
1. Checked whether Builtin\Adminstrator account is there or not. i've seen the Builtin\Adminstrator Account.
2. TCP/IP connections are enabled.

Hi Gail,

There is login for the default database and having the appropriate permissions.
