Hi

I wanted to disable logshipping, so i deleted all the jobs (Backup job in primary instance,Copy and Restore in sencondary instance), later i right clicked on my database -->properties-->transaction log shipping but i am not able to disable the logshipping and getting this Error 14262...

Please help in solving the above problem

I am facing the same problem aswell.... instead of disabling the logshipping by

1.RC on Database
2.properties
3.transaction log shipping
4.Unchecking the Enable this as a primary database in a logshipping configuration

I deleted the jobs and later tried to do the above steps, now i am unable to disable logshipping

Please help

You can manually remove log shipping by deleting all rows in the log shipping tables in the msdb database on each of the servers (primary, secondary, and monitor).

But the above issue got solved when i used a login with sysadmin priv
