Dear All I have a sql 2008 server with maintenance plan included daily Full Database backup it worked well long time but suddenly i got an error with Event ID= 3041 with this descriptionBACKUP failed to complete the command BACKUP DATABASE slo_billing_sysdate. Check the backup application log for detailed messages.Please tell me how to solve this problem and where is backup application log Many ThanksEng.AShraf |

From sqlservercentral.com:check the backup application log -actually means for you to check the Windows Event Viewer Logs. The application log and the SQL Server Error Log are 'tied' together with the application log usually showing more details.Also, look at the entries above and below that one in the SQL Server Error log. Many Thanks - I found the problem Our mantenance paln take Full databases backup and some of databases was in offline mode so this error was generatedmany Thanks againAshraf |
