What's the error? I'm not going to follow a link.
Usually it's because the datatypes are wrong, can't find the source table or trying to import beyond the end of data.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
SSIS can be used in a similar way.

how are you importing? export import wizard or OPENROWSET?

can you tell which excel connector you're using? JET or ACE?

I don't know the type of connector. I am new to SQL.
I am just using import wizard of SQL Server management studio .
