I have installed sqlserver2008 in my laptop and I tried to install informatica 8.6 and tried to working with MSSQL database. But I am stuck at domain configuration step. I used windows authentication and default instanse name 'MSSQLSERVER' also I am using port number 1433 which is default port. UID and PW I supplied windows UID and PW. But still I did not get success. This is the first time I tried to install informatica. I am using windows7 home premium OS.Could any one help me please with detail.

Im in the same situation with Win7 enterprise and sql server 2008. can anyone guide me on installing informatica 8.6.1

Did you guys have any luck proceeding further? I am stuck at the same step where I provided all the information to create domain database. I would be grateful if any of you could let me know what mistake I am doing here.
