Hi all,

We have few servers with varying fix versions..

XXXXXX1 is on build no.8.00.2187
XXXXXX2 is on build no. 8.00.2282
XXXXXX3 is on build no. 8.00.2282

I'm just having some issues narrowing down which of the two versions is the later and what the ramifications are. Any help appreciated!

Jake

All of those are SQL Server 2000 versions - and at least SP4 with post hot fixes.

Hi Jeff, I know what version and SP already, but in addition I need to find out which hotfixes have been applied (and how far behind they are), which isn't specified in the link.

All of those are 2000 versions - which is no longer supported. Ramifications are that you cannot get any further updates for them and will need to upgrade to 2008 or above to get support.

A simple google search tells me that 2282 is a security update to SP4.
