Hi,

We decided to migrate from MS SQL Server 2005 Express to MS SQL Server 2008 Enterprise Edition. First of all, is it possible?And if it's possible what is the fastest and simple way? And last question this migration will bring performance to us?

Restore a backup is the easiest and safest way.

When i backup DBs via MS Manager, backup files have .bak extension. But when i try to restore with bak files i get error. I think i should backup with .mdf extension. How can i do it?
