Good day sir, may i ask for your assistance, is this possible
using case when function;

case when Var1 ='1' and Var2='30' then 1 else 0 end

how can you write in SQL 2008?

That looks good.
Put it in place of a value and it shuold work.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
SSIS can be used in a similar way.
