I am installing SQL server 2005 on a development PC for learning. I already have SQL server 2008 express installed.
The install itself went perfect and I can connect to the server however the issue I face now is with the Reporting services. I installed the Report server using the default instance and local account (I have tried a local and network account). Now when I try to launch the Reporting service configuration I cannot connect to the server. I am getting a access denied error.
I cannot figure out what the issue is. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it a few times trying different login settings and they all fail.
