Hi Experts,
I got a problem while i am trying to install Sql Server 2005 enterprise edition in windows 7, only some components were getting installed not the server and client tools.i have enabled IIS and i have installed the Microsoft Visual studio.

can you please help me, how to go further and do installation.

Possibly you have already installed Express Edition, that could be a problem. Remove Express Instance and reinstall your Enterprise Edition.

Hi Thank you for quick reply..
I did not install any till now on the sever this is the 1st time I am trying to install SQL Server 2005 Enterprise edition in Windows 7, I tried to install it but, only work station components are getting installed other than this I am not egtting any of the sql tools.
I have a licensed version of Sql server 2005 enterprise edition 32 bit, but the OS is not allowing me to install the software, is there any way to over come this problem.

But you did install Micorsoft Visual Studio, which also install Express Edition. Check your windows services and you will find it there.

yeah I have installed the Microsoft Visual Studio but there is no Express Edition installed on the server as I have uninstalled the sql server again from the program files in the control pannal as I couldnt install all the SQL and Client Tools on the server.
