Greetings,

We deal with ingesting lots of images to hard disk but have references to them in our database for use by our web site.

Is there any way to save the Vector graphic of each to a table and is there such an pro/cons over referencing the files on disk?

Thanks

so i found this here which might be helpful

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e6/Phone.svg

once you save the svg file and edit it using notepad++ or any other editor you can see all it is is xml. so that value could be dumped to an xml data type column. but wonder if it is worth it.
