We are using domain accounts for database engine and agent. During installation when I use these accounts it gives invalid credentials. User name and pw is correct. Same accounts are used on other servers with no problem. But with new installation on new server I am having this issue. These accounts are member of same AD group.
My question is do we need to give these accounts: " Service account should have the permission “Log On To” database server". Where to set this property?
SQL Server is not yet installed. I want to use these accounts during sql server installation. There is one screen where you put account name and pw for sql server database engine, agent etc. My question is for that part not after installation.
