Last month, while using SSMS, I started getting a problem. If I want to open or insert a script from my hard drive, I get the Windows Form Dialog box, but it takes about 10-15 seconds for it to actually become operational.
When I click Cancel, it now takes 10-15 seconds to close the dialog box.
I've tried disconnecting my network cable and rebooting, and unassigning my mapped network drives, as tests. No change.
Is anyone familiar with this problem?
