Hello,

I am responsible for the disk usage on our servers. My team is being required to add a graphic to each record/chart in our system that contains a signature. This file is not large, but they are wanting to duplicate 1,000 (maybe 10s of 1000s) of times. I told them I 'thought' I had heard that SQL 2012 has de-duplication features where, the graphic would exist once on the server, then simply be downloaded to each client who pulls the chart sort-of-thing. I googled and found DQS addin for SQL 2012, but it appears to only apply to Excel? Is there anything available for SQL 2008 R2?

Can anyone help?

I simply do not want this trend to repeat, and I am fighting for disk space.
