set up:
(1) server belongs to domain "A" + SQL runs under domain acct "Ab"
(2) server is dropped from domain "A" and joined to domain "X"
(3) SQL login acct changed from old domain acct "Ab" to new domain acct "Xy"

(4) blah blah blah = mgmt: "put it back the way it was"

(5) server is dropped from domain "X" and joined to domain "A"
(6) SQL login acct changed from new domain acct "Xy" to old domain acct "Ab" ***BUT*** at this point error is presented =

No mapping between account names and security IDs

just to bring SQL back up, tried changing login to BUILTIN/local server = get the same error msg

help?
