There are some nice new DMVs & AlwaysOn. Of course , you need to weigh this up with new licensing costs , migration costs etc

Did you read the link? It's a program that allows interaction with data stored in Hadoop. Microsoft is making a big push to incorporate Hadoop storage with SQL Server and its data platform. This was announced last year at the PASS Summit. There will be similar announcements at this year's summit next week.
