Hi All,

I am creating a SSRS report which directly gets the data from oracle.

I am running an oracle query in bids.

When i run this query in the "query designer" then i am getting an error saying

"This Command is not supported by this provider".

I had tried using 'Oracle' and 'OLEDB' connection types but they didn't worked.

I am using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008.

Please advise me on this

Instead of using the query designer, you might try developing the query in Oracle and simply pasting it to the Query window in BIDS.
