Hi, I installed Microsoft SQL Server on my new (still 2000) computer. I am getting the following message when I try to run the Enterprise Managersnap-in failed to initializeName: Micorsoft SQL Enteprise ManagerCLSID: {00100100-1816-11d0-8eF5-00AA0062c58F}I compared the data under Inprocserv32, ProgID and VersionIndependentprodid with another computer here and it is the same ??What do I Do to get my Enterprise Manager to run correctly ?ThanksRamana |

I had this problem once. From what I recall a dll hadn't been registered correctly. Try reregistering sqlmmc.dll. ie.regsvr32 C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Binn\sqlmmc.dllThat did the trick for me.macka.ps.
