hai...
i`m just want to ask something about mysql server 2005...i want to create a registration system in my project and i want it connected with barcode scanner.Can mysql server 2005 connect or link to hardware like barcode scanner???
hope someone can help me...

Develop a front end application that connects to Sql Server database at backend which stores your desired results

Normally with a barcode scanner - the barcode scanner would interface with the application and the application would manage the connectivity to SQL Server - such as ODBC or DSN-less

SQL Server 2005 includes native support for managing XML data, in addition to relational data. For this purpose, it defined an xml data type that could be used either as a data type in database columns or as literals in queries. Of course, you can link SQL Server 2005 to a barcode scanner.
