Hi everyone,
I installed SQLServer2005 and I try to log to the server but there is no shortcut to do so.
At "programs" all there is is:
SQL Server Configuration Manager
SQL Server Error and Usage reporting
SQL Server Surface Area Configuration
Notification Services Command Prompt
Reporting Services Configuration
Where is the SSMS ?!
Thanks

Type sqlwb.exe in run. Maybe you didn't install Client components.

Look in "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\Binn\VSShell\Common7\IDE\SqlWb.exe" (or a similar path depending on where you installed it).

Which SKU did you install? If you installed express edition, you may need to install SSMS separately by downloading it from here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8961

Hi,
I own a "SQL Server 2005" Developer edition. sqlwb.exe doesn't exist on my disk.
Thanks

Problem solved by using MicrosoftFixit.ProgramInstallUninstall to uninstall the server. Only then I reinstalled it so I could have SSMS.
Thank you for giving a hand.
