i'm trying to restore a database and I keep getting erros

now I tried a restore verifyonly and I'm getting that my .bak file is not a valid Microsoft Tape format backup

I am choosing the place on the disk that has my backup file that was taken yesterday.

what can I do to resolve this?

If the backup is corrupt is there anyway to fix this?

Looks like your backup is compressed with .bak extension.
