Good afternoon. I have a question regarding SSIS 2012 for the experts. I am trying to port some of my existing 2008 Packages into 2012 and want to make sure I understand something before I move forward
Environment
Multi-Instance server where integration services is point to our default instance. I see with the newest release we need to create a SSISDB database.
My concern is as follows. My packages are associated with a second instance not the instance where SSIS is pointing so can I install my packages in the second instance? Or does it have to be stored in the instance with SSIS is pointing (default)? Any help would be great.
