Hi Experts,

I am getting this following error while installing MSSQL 2008 R2 on my system XP. This error happens while installing management tools for the SQL server. Can any one guide me.

TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Setup
------------------------------

The following error has occurred:

Error 1326.Error getting file security: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE\vshost32.exe GetLastError: 5

Hi Experts,

Here is some added information on the above given error:

I found that my system is having "Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Tools" with version number"10.0.30319" and the setup is installing a below Version - "9.0.35191". So, the system is not allowing it to install. Below is the log error.

MSI (s) (DC:A8) [16:53:01:300]: Windows Installer installed the product. Product Name: Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for Applications 2.0 - ENU. Product Version: 9.0.35191. Product Language: 0. Installation success or error status: 1603.
Product: Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for Applications 2.0 - ENU -- Installation failed.

Now, I do not know how to overcome this.
Kindly guide me.
