Hello there. Iam trying to install 2012 express.

but after confirming T&Cs and after a few next buttons.

then i get the following error.

TITLE: SQL Server Setup failure.

SQL Server Setup has encountered the following error:

Could not load file or assembly 'file:///C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Setup Bootstrap\SQLServer2012\x86\Microsoft.SQL.Chainer.PackageData.dll' or one of its dependencies. The module was expected to contain an assembly manifest.

Error code 0x84B10001.

i have uninstalled my 2008 version. but still ok getting the error.

does anyone know how i can sort this?

Sorry if this sounds too elementary - but, that sounds like a corrupt or incorrect download. Probably the easiest thing to try is to download it again from here http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29062 making sure that you are downloading the correct version (x64 or x86)
