When adding the Back Up Database Task to a maintenance plan, what are the advantages or pitfalls of selecting multiple databases in a single task? My thought is it could create a drain on server resources. Is this a recommended practice?
When multiple databases are selected, are backups performed simultaneously, or does it wait for one to end before moving on to the next? |
