Dear Team,

Can we restore SQL Server 2008 R2 database in Sql server 2005 through DB back up.

If not is their any other work arround to restore in SQL server 2005.

Nope you cant

You cant restore a backup created in later version to earlier version server
You can do inverse though ie creating a backup in earlier server like 2005 and then restoring to 2008 R2 box due to backward compatibility

In your case only workaround is to upgrade 2005 to 2008 R2

If upgrading from SQL Server 2005 to sql server 2008 is not possible - one option is to to script out objects and manually transfer data.
