Server with WIN 2003 & SQL 2005 was crashed. One new system (IDE Hard disk) was installed with Win 2003 & SQL 2005.All the data bases were restored from previous backup from external harddisk except one database. The size of the data base is nearly 9GB.While restoring the database error is showing as 'Microsoft SQL-DMO(ODBC SQLstate:42000)' An internal consistency error. Contact Technical Support for Assistance. RESTORE DATABASE is terminating abnormally'.
Pl give solution to restore the database.

Sounds like your backup is no good. You could try MS Support, but it is not likely they will be able to help either.
