I am using the SSIS package source to destination which was defined as numeric..

Please let me know i need to change dataype properties of the output column to decimal.

In SSIS the only way is to use a derived column task in between which you need to add a cast expression using

(DT_NUMERIC,15,4) or (DT_DECIMAL,15,4)
