Hi,
Im practicing Log shiping for first time, and i hav a question.

I have two instances on same system, and using one as primary server and INST2 as sec server.
when I select backup setting from transaction log shipping tab,it ask me for network path and the local path.
I know the local path will be the path where i have made a primaryshared folder.
BUT what will be the network path?
my primaryshared folder is located at C:\primsharedfolder

Thanks

It would be a UNC path that has sufficient permissions for the service account.

Just you type \\ with your computer name in RUN then you find out your shared folder there open that shared folder there you will find Network
path of the primary shared folder at addressbar
