Hi,

I ran a report, which is taking 1min for 269577 Records in SSMS

I ran the same report through Report Manager which returns data in 3min

I ran by the same report for a different scenario which returns around
997656 Records. It got completed in 6 min through SSMS. But where as through Report Manager it is never ending.

Note: Pivoting is used in RDL in both the cases

Please do needful.

Regards,
Srini

Do you REALLY need to pivot 1 million row at the client side?

Hard to believe.
Anyway, try to preaggregate the data in the database first, the the lowest level used in the report.
