Hello all,
in a report that gets data from a Web Service,
when I switch to preview tab in my BIDS (VS 2008),
I got this error:

Warning 1 [rsAggregateOfNonNumericData] The Value expression for the textrun ‘textbox156.Paragraphs[0].TextRuns[0]’ uses a numeric aggregate function on data that is not numeric. Numeric aggregate functions (Sum, Avg, StDev, Var, StDevP, and VarP) can only aggregate numeric data. D:\NBReportSoln\NBReportSoln\DateRel.rdl 0 0

In the textbox156 I have this expression:

=CDec(Sum(Fields!Valore.Value))

and some Fields.Valore could be -1
but never non numeric values.

How can I solve this strange problem?

Thanks in advance.

Luis

Change your expression to
=Sum(CDec(Fields!Valore.Value))
