In our SQL Server Mirroring setup we have one Principal database, one Mirror database, and one witness. Recently Principal Database/server lost contact with both the Mirror and the Witness. As a result, Mirror formed a quorum with the witness and turned itself into Principal. Now we have two principal databases and one witness. The old Principal database / server does not know about the new Principal [old Mirror] database / server and the new Principal [old Mirror] does not know about the old principal. How to resolve this situation the best possible way so that we get the original configuration back, one Principal database, One Mirror Database and one Witness. Appreciate your help.
